U-Beaut Publishing was formed as an arm of Central Victorian School of Woodcrafts to publish school material for their students. Since 1991 the main products have been ‘A Polishers Handbook’ and ‘Woodturning for Beginners’ both produced originally for the exclusive use of students at the school.

‘A Polishers Handbook’ has since been updated a number of times and has grown from 45 pages in 1991 to a book of over 200 pages in the latest 2002 Edition. It has sold almost 14,000 copies Australia wide since going public in 1995. 

For 6 years we produced a Woodworkers Calendar & Source Book which went national in 1996. Each year around 4,000 of these calendars were sold to woodworkers and woodworking clubs throughout Australia. We ceased production of the calendars after the 2000 edition due to lack of cooperation and interest from clubs. 

Everything produced by ‘u Beaut Publishing is written, printed, bound, videoed, edited and titled, etc. entirely in house. All are available direct from us or at our distributors throughout Australia.
